My Bio

My interest in photography started as a kid growing up in Oshkosh working with film cameras in the 80’s. I enjoy taking portrait, landscapes, wildlife, and macro photography. I have increased my photography knowledge at NWTC, and will be graduating fall of 2022 with a digital arts degree in photography.  What characteristics do I have that makes me a great photographer? I am a Registered Nurse of 20 years; this has taught me patience and critical thinking. I spent 4 years in the Navy as a Corpsman (combat medic), 14 years in the Army as a Trauma/ICU nurse.  When I came back from Afghanistan in 2010 I was looking for something to challenge me, something that I had a passion for, photography to me is more than just a hobby, it is a lifestyle. I love to take care of people, I want to exceed their expectations, and capture the special moments in their lives.
